All products in the new series can be controlled with either AC or DC control voltage, resulting in a very small number of part numbers and straightforward logistics management. The front panel features a green/red status indicator that is clearly visible from the side, enhancing safety. The AC/DC controlled coil of the contactor operates silently, making it suitable for installation in locations such as a control panel mounted on a hotel room wall. Typical applications for the ESB_N series include various building controls such as HVAC units, LED lighting, renewable energy controls, and charging stations.

The ESB series has been extended both downward and upward, now covering a current range of 16 A to 100 A. The product series now also complies with the industrial standard IEC 60947-4-1 as well as IEC 61095. There are a total of eight varistor-protected AC/DC control coils ranging from 24 V to 415 V.
