Construction

Load-bearing PET foam elements are embedded and bonded into AF/Armaflex cellular rubber foam.

Load-bearing metal sheets made from painted aluminum (thickness 0.8 mm) also serve as vapor barriers.

The protective paper/film covering the self-adhesive surfaces may contain silicone residues.

When installing under conditions with fluctuating temperatures, overall design must account for thermal expansion, as it may exert pressure on the insulation.
