DEVIcell™ installation and insulation board is suitable for dry areas directly under laminate or wooden flooring. DEVIcell™ enables quick and easy installation of floor heating directly under parquet, laminate, or wooden finishes.

The size of the DEVIcell™ board is 50 cm x 100 cm with a thickness of only 13 mm. The DEVIcell™ board consists of a 12 mm thick lower layer of thermal-insulating EPS insulation and an upper layer of approximately 1 mm thick reflective aluminum foil. Thanks to its structure, heat is evenly distributed across the floor, maintaining a comfortable room temperature. Heat is not wasted because the insulation effectively prevents heat loss downward, while the aluminum reflects heat upward. This allows the temperature to reach the desired level quickly.

The boards are compatible with DEVIflex™ 6T (6 W/m) and 10T (10 W/m) heating cables. Ten meters of heating cable are required per square meter of board, resulting in a floor power output of 60 W/m² or 100 W/m², achieving ideal heating performance for parquet and laminate floors. When selecting the cable, consider the cable length adjustment due to board modifications.

DEVIcell™ board packaging sizes are 2 m², 5 m², and 50 m².

Concrete or panel floors - finish: parquet or laminate
DEVIcell™ installation and insulation boards are installed directly on top of the existing floor, and the boards are connected to each other using the provided plastic clips. Next, the heating cables are pressed into the grooves of the board, a base material recommended by the parquet or laminate manufacturer is applied on top, and finally the parquet or laminate is installed in place.

Joist floors - finish: wooden planks
Non-compressible thermal insulation is installed between joists spaced at 600 mm. DEVIcell™ installation and insulation boards are installed directly on top of the insulation between the joists, and the boards are connected to each other using the provided plastic clips. The heating cables are pressed into the grooves of the board and, if necessary, covered with aluminum tape. Finally, the wooden planks are fixed to the floor joists or supports. The best efficiency is achieved when there is no air gap between the DEVIcell™ insulation board and the floor plank, ensuring direct contact.

Not suitable for installation under poured or tiled floors.
