The product is intended to optimize power consumption by performing automatic load balancing between Easee charging robot(s) and the building. It prevents overload and power interruption during electric vehicle (EV) charging. If WiFi is unstable or not working, the device has an Easee Link RF™ connection. Walls, concrete, or other obstacles may limit the radio usage for Easee Link connectivity.

The product must be connected to a charging robot and linked to a compatible smart meter using the provided cable. For Equalizer to function properly, the smart meter’s communication port must typically be activated. Equalizer supports several smart meters.
