SLA® Barrier pressure pipe system reliably prevents contaminants from entering drinking water. The metallic intermediate layer provides permanent protection for the substance being transported in the pipe and for the environment. In addition to its electrical properties, it enables localization of the pipe and verification of its integrity after installation.
The diffusion-protected SLA Barrier PE100-RC pressure pipe is an excellent pressure pipe for drinking water lines, enabling safe construction of pressure pipe systems even in risk areas (e.g., contaminated soil).
SLA® Barrier Pipe is also KIWA-certified for extremely contaminated Class III soil. The SLA® Barrier pressure pipe meets the high requirements of the BRL 17101 standard, as applied in the Netherlands, thanks to its aluminum-based sealing layer, which KIWA has now updated and revised.
Product structure:- Pipes are manufactured from high-quality PE100 RC material (RC = Resistance to Crack).
- The installation spacing between drinking water and wastewater systems can be small, allowing installation on a single route.
- A special protective jacket ensures installation of the pressure pipe without damage when using trenchless installation methods (no-dig).
- Optional: Testing the integrity of the pipe system for acceptance of construction work.
- In addition to sand bed installation, pipes can also be installed without a sand bed and are suitable for directional drilling installation.
