Prescor safety valve for protecting hot water tanks against excessive pressure.
When the system pressure reaches the set pressure, the Prescor B safety valve begins to drip, stopping further pressure rise. If pressure suddenly exceeds the set pressure due to operating conditions, the Prescor B safety valve opens fully, providing a high discharge capacity. This is a permanent and reliable safety feature against overpressure. Dripping can be prevented by installing a properly sized Airfix diaphragm pressure tank in the domestic water system.
The Prescor safety valve seat is designed to form a perfect seal while enabling high discharge capacity. The hardness of the rubber is also precisely matched to the valve’s set pressure. Thanks to the combination of a specially designed seat and rubber, optimal safety is achieved.
