The fan is intended for wall or ceiling mounting, for example in a bathroom or care room. It is designed for fixed installation only and has a 125 mm recessed section. A backdraft damper is included (easily removable). If the building has gravity-based ventilation and the fan is installed into a self-drafting duct in the ceiling, the backdraft damper must be removed to prevent obstruction of natural ventilation.
