and flame-retardant PVC, welded securely to the protective cover.
The insulation layer is 20 mm thick and contains a robust
7 m aluminum foil-shielded heating cable that distributes heat
evenly across the entire surface of the cover. Thanks to the hanging straps,
storage and transportation of the cover are easy, and it also features 8
loops for vertical hanging.
Optionally, the protective cover can be equipped with either a 3-pin CEE, DK,
or Schuko plug along with a 2.5 m neoprene connection cable.
The protective cover is multi-purpose and suitable for, for example, excavation work (melting capacity
20–50 cm/day), localized melting of ice formations (e.g., doors, entrances,
or platforms).
It can also be used to melt ice from casting molds, masonry mortar,
cables, and machinery. The power of the cover can be further increased by covering it with conventional
