The gasket has a multilayer structure composed of extremely pure graphite sheets (approximately 99.85%) and smooth stainless steel foils. Based on tests, the material is six times stiffer and therefore easier to handle than traditional graphite gasket materials. The graphite and foil layers are bonded together through a special process without adhesives, ensuring the structure remains unchanged even at extreme temperatures.
