POP-22EX is a versatile measurement and control device that can, for example, monitor tank levels, control pumps and valves, and transmit alarms. The device can be connected to Labkotec's capacitive 3W sensor or other two-wire transmitters such as pressure sensors. POP-22EX can convert, for instance, the level height in a horizontal cylindrical tank into volume. The POP-22EX measurement and control device is approved for use in explosive atmospheres, such as oil tanks, with installed sensors in accordance with the ATEX directive (equipment category 1). The POP-22EX must be installed in a safe area. The device has two relay outputs for alarms or controlling pumps and valves, and one 0/4-20 mA current loop output. The current loop can be transmitted to an external automation system without a separate Ex barrier. However, when transmitting the current signal back into an explosive atmosphere, a separate Ex barrier must be used. In addition to the two-line LCD display, the device features an intuitive bar graph display (0-100%). Settings are made via the front panel using the display unit and buttons.
