HOLESAW MILWAUKEE HOLE DOZER 117MM
The saw tooth technology improves productivity. The 3.5-tooth design with a positive 10° tooth angle delivers the following benefits:
Faster and more aggressive cutting.
Better heat dissipation ensures teeth stay sharp longer.
Deeper gullets enable more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heat buildup.
The special tooth angle does not tear thinner materials.
Variable tooth spacing minimizes binding and friction.
Aggressive tooth geometry and effective chip removal allow for lower feed pressure, reducing the need for force during operation.
Tooth material:
- Matrix II high-speed steel is used for the saw teeth. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, maintaining the original hardness of the teeth even at high operating temperatures.
- Bimetal construction: Made from an extremely heat-resistant cobalt-alloyed high-speed steel. Teeth are heat-treated up to 65 HRC at 600 degrees to ensure long durability and service life.
- Matrix II material resists wear and is therefore ideal for cutting difficult and hard materials such as stainless and acid-resistant steel. It is also suitable for cutting softer materials like wood. The 1.27 mm thick steel body is rigid enough to maintain its shape yet flexible. 41 mm saw depth.
Backplate design:
- Backplates are manufactured from thick steel, ensuring holes do not expand over time.
- Thick backplate increases strength and rigidity, reducing vibration.
- Easy arbor mounting.
- The round backplate is especially suitable for larger-diameter hole saws. Beveled grooves on the sides of the saw teeth facilitate the removal of drilling debris from inside the hole saw.
Applications:
Precision manufacturing ensures accurate rotation, making these hole saws suitable for both hand-held and pillar drills (hand feed only).
This comprehensive and high-quality hole saw range is ideal for cutting various materials:
- Steel with a density up to 1000 N/mm2
- Stainless and acid-resistant steel
- Brass
- Cast iron
- Aluminum
- Wood
- Medium-density fiberboard (MDF)
- Gypsum board
- Roofing materials
- PVC.
