HEAT RECOVERY UNIT NILAN Combi 302 Polar Top
The Combi 302 Polar Top combines two heat recovery technologies. Passive recovery operates via a counterflow heat exchanger that recovers 85–95% of the exhaust air's energy. Active recovery using a heat pump captures the remaining energy left by the passive system. The heat pump has a COP of over 4, and due to the heat pump, additional post-heating is rarely required. The Combi 302 unit can heat supply air to well above 30 degrees Celsius.
With the heat pump, the supply air can be cooled in summer by over 10 degrees. Due to the airflow rate, this does not fully replace an air conditioning unit, but cooling the supply air removes moisture, and the cooled, drier air feels significantly more pleasant during summer heat.
