This pump is not recommended for drinking water, as it does not self-drain after use, leaving water inside the pump. Installation

When installing the pump, note that the length of the suction pipe affects the pump’s maximum suction height. With a foot valve, the suction height is 8 meters; without a foot valve, it is 4 meters. A standard P 1” (32 mm) pipe is typically used as the suction pipe, with the foot valve installed at its end. Garden hose is unsuitable as a suction pipe because it is too soft and the pump’s suction will collapse it.

The Nira 6B can withstand momentary pressure of approximately 3 bar. The pump must not be installed in a system where it is continuously under pressure. When connecting the pump to a fuel tank, ensure the tank cannot empty by itself (siphoning effect).
