In this LF type safety voltage transformer, the windings are separated and cast into self-extinguishing polyurethane. LF transformers are designed for use in applications requiring a CE-approved safety voltage transformer. Typical applications include alarm systems, automation, heating foils, and heating cables. The transformer is protected against short circuits by a glass tube fuse. Additionally, it is protected against short circuits by a built-in, non-resettable thermal fuse.
