LiesiTurva consists of a switching unit installed behind the stove and a safety timer. LiesiTurva activates when the stove is turned on.
The timer has a default fixed running time of 30 minutes, which the installer can easily adjust by turning the potentiometer inside the timer. Fixed time options are 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 240, and 480 minutes.
Additionally, the user can set a temporary time using the timer button. The temporary time, 1...999 minutes, expires after one use and the timer reverts to the fixed time.
During operation, the running time can also be extended. When less than 10 minutes remain on the timer, pressing the timer button adds 10 more minutes. This can be repeated twice.
When the timer time expires, three crosses light up on the timer. This indicates that the time has ended and the stove control knobs are in the on position. When all stove control knobs are turned off, the timer returns to standby mode, after which the stove can be restarted again.
