The core of this innovative product is an optical filter with a precisely shaped nose opening. The lens is positioned closer to the eyes than in traditional welding helmets, expanding the welder’s field of view by up to 2.7 times! Extremely lightweight and exceptionally comfortable. Automatic darkening operates on 2 x CR2032 button batteries (battery life approx. 1000 hours per set). Simply cool and radical. Perfectly designed to be fully compatible with the Optrel Swiss Air powered air-purifying respirator.
In the Weldcap, plastic and textile are uniquely combined. The helmet is soft where comfort is needed and durable where maximum protection is required. The comfortable and easily replaceable textile component is made from flame-retardant material. Additionally, it is hygienic and washable.
Darkening levels 9-12 cover the majority of welding applications, while level 3 in general mode provides the welder with a bright and well-lit view of the work area. This feature makes the Weldcap excellent for grinding tasks as well.
