The Parmair KT93500 AM hood is suitable for example for centralized ventilation systems in apartment buildings. The hood is equipped with a timer-controlled motor-driven AM valve.

Pressing the right-side membrane button turns the work light on and off. Pressing the left-side membrane button (boost) opens the exhaust valve (AM valve) shown in the figure to the boost position, and the green boost indicator light turns on. The valve returns to the normal position after 60 minutes. If the button is pressed again, the valve closes to the normal position and the indicator light turns off. The memory card in the hood opens and closes the valve 30 days after the last use of the hood, if such a long interruption has occurred since the hood's boost function was activated.
