FEATURES/USAGE
The general splice enclosure XOK 10... is designed to accommodate all commonly used terrestrial, duct, and aerial optical cables as well as optical fiber composite ground wires (OPGW) or helically armored cables. The enclosure material is acid-resistant steel, making it mechanically robust and highly resistant to corrosion. The seal is made of rubber. The enclosure is pressure-tight (IP68) and suitable for direct installation in cable pits, underground, or on poles. The enclosure provides sufficient space for storing distribution tails and mounting points for various reinforcement and core elements, as well as options for various grounding arrangements. The enclosure can be easily opened and closed as needed after installation. Several basic versions are available with two, three, or four penetrations, along with specialized versions for branch enclosures and intermediate neck types. Enclosures are available pre-packaged in application packages with fiber counts of 24, 48, 96, or 192.
