ANNULAR WATER PUMP LOHJA ISKU 304 VP WITHOUT MOTOR
The Pumppulohjan Isku 304 VP is a modern Finnish water ring pump designed for economical water supply. The water ring pump is intended for pumping clean cold water. It is used as a suction pump to raise domestic water pressure to a pressure tank and water network. The Isku pump has a robust and simple structure.
In the VP pump, the positions of the suction and pressure pipes are reversed compared to the original Isku pumps. Isku VP pumps can be easily swapped in place of worn-out pumps from other manufacturers without any piping work. A pre-installed coupling half is fitted to the pump, making replacement effortless. The sliding ring seal used in Isku pumps is made from high-quality materials. The leak-proof, self-adjusting seal ensures a clean environment, long maintenance intervals, and energy-efficient, long-lasting operation.
The water ring pump can be started with a hand switch, float switch, or pressure switch. The pump must be installed in a location where it cannot freeze and at least half a meter above the bottom of the well to prevent sand from entering the piping. Before connecting to the piping, flush out the protective oil from the pump. After installing the piping and before starting, fill the suction pipe and pump with priming water. The pump must never be operated dry. It is advisable to use fine mesh screening around the foot valve.
