A protective tube is installed tightly into the sensor housing. After pouring, the protective cover is removed, the sensor cable is threaded through the protective tube, and the sensor is screwed into the housing. The sensor surface must remain visible to enable it to detect temperature and humidity. The sensor is installed in a location protected from mechanical stress.

The sensor cable length is 20 m, extendable (4 x 1.5 mm²) up to 125 meters.
