MULTIPEX WITH HEATING CABLE 15/28 PIP 20mm INS. 11W/m 60m
The Roth MultiPex pipe with an integrated self-regulating heating cable is designed for installations requiring the maintenance of hot water and heating systems in a thawed state. The self-regulating heating cable is bonded to the MultiPex pipe to ensure direct contact and optimal heat transfer. The MultiPex pipe is supplied within a Roth protective pipe (28 or 34 mm), which protects both the MultiPex pipe and the heating cable. The protective pipe is covered with a 20 mm Roth X-Plus insulation sleeve, providing optimal insulation for installations. The self-regulating heating cable is delivered fully assembled and equipped with a plug. This allows the installer to focus solely on the plumbing installation and simply connect the heating cable to a 230V socket. The cable may be shortened if necessary, but electrical work must be performed only by a licensed electrician. This also applies to the installation of a thermostat with an external sensor. Installation instructions for the thermostat are supplied with the thermostat.
Applications: Direct freeze protection for water supply installations in homes, cabins, and other buildings at risk of freezing. This type of pipe is also commonly used for temporary installations. The heating cable can be disconnected and used as needed.
Notice! The product must not be used in potable water installations without the Roth MultiPex freeze protection thermostat (LVI no. 2070575). The sensor cable is installed directly inside the protective pipe. The thermostat ensures that the temperature of cold potable water does not exceed the set temperature (recommended setting: 6 degrees).
