AUXILIARY CONTACT OF/SD/SDE/SDV

Auxiliary or alarm contacts for the new generation ComPacT NSX circuit breaker:

• Multiple auxiliary or alarm contacts can be installed on the breaker.
• One contact block contains one changeover contact (1 NO/NC).
• Wire connections have been implemented using spring technology since 2021. The advantage of the spring connection over the previous screw connection is faster wiring and more reliable contact. The connection is clearly either firmly closed or open, and the spring connection also provides a longer-lasting and more reliable connection in demanding and vibrating conditions.
• The operation of the changeover contact depends on where it is installed inside the breaker.

Available functions are:

• OF = auxiliary contact
• SD = trip contact from electrical trip
• SDE = alarm contact from electrical fault. Additionally, an SDE adapter (LV429451 / 3653226) is required with TM-D/MA and MicroLogic 2.2 protective relays.
• SDV = alarm contact from earth fault trip
