CENTRE UNIT WISER WISER 2ND GEN
The second-generation Wiser Hub is Schneider Electric’s compact and efficient central unit that serves as the control center for a smart home. It connects all Wiser Zigbee devices into a seamless whole and enables home control via the Wiser Home app on a smartphone.
The central unit supports all previously released Wiser Zigbee devices, such as light controllers, outlets, sensors, smoke alarms, and thermostats. The new design is even more compact, and the status indicator and WiFi connection have been simplified for quick installation.
The central unit stores automation and status settings both in the cloud and locally on the device’s memory, ensuring they remain functional even without an internet connection. Thanks to Matter support, devices connected to the central unit can be controlled alongside other smart home devices using Matter-compatible apps and devices such as Google Home, Apple HomeKit, and Amazon Alexa.
Control is performed via the updated Finnish-language Wiser Home app (iOS and Android), which includes new features such as:
- Home screen with favorite devices
- Room-by-room heating control
- Load management to optimize energy costs
- Absent mode that turns off selected devices and lowers heating with a single press
The app’s Insights view now also supports PowerTag energy meters, enabling monitoring of electricity consumption, solar panel output, and detection of overload or underload conditions.
