Multifix KR fire boxes maintain the fire resistance rating of the wall. They contain fire-safe seals that expand and protect against fire as the temperature rises above 120 degrees. This completely blocks the opening in the wall during a fire, preventing the spread of flames and smoke gases to other parts of the building through the box openings.

KR Fire Boxes are approved for installation in walls with fire resistance ratings of EI30, EI60, or EI90. They are used with standard KR boxes.

Easy installation

KR series boxes and accessories have been developed based on familiar JR products, taking into account the feedback of electricians. Thanks to improved features, installation is now easier and faster than ever.
Clean penetration holes can be easily made with a hammer or other tool by tapping.
Connecting and disconnecting the boxes is also easier than before.
The redesigned rotating adjustment ring rises 2 mm per turn, speeding up installation.
The adjustment ring screws have also been shortened so that the screw does not get entangled in the wires when turning the ring.
The redesigned box lid features a handle that not only protects the contents of the box but also provides a good grip for rotation.
The adjustment ring can also be turned using a screwdriver thanks to a hexagonal hole through the lid.
Connecting the boxes together is now more flexible, as combinations can be made on all sides.
