The TeSys GV3 motor protection switch is easily mounted on a DIN rail and saves installation space with a compact width of only 55 mm for use in various motor starters. The range includes switches with additional differential protection as well as short-circuit and overload protection or short-circuit protection only up to 80 A / 45 kW / 400 V.
The main circuit of the switch features EverLink™ terminals that ensure a long-lasting and robust cable connection without the need for retightening and the problems associated with loose connections. EverLink terminals reduce failures of conductors and components due to overheating of connections, unwanted tripping of switches, fire risks, and short-circuit hazards.
The switch has a three-position rotary handle (on/off/trip), a lock for the off position, and an optional door-mounted shaft. The GV3 series uses common auxiliary and alarm contacts, trip indicators, and other accessories compatible with GV2 switches.
