Preventa XPS Universal combines the ease of use of safety relays with comprehensive diagnostics.
Previously, functions required more complex and expensive fieldbus technology:

- Diagnostic messages help reduce machine downtime because you receive more precise information about the root cause of production stoppages.
- Additionally, the intelligent output of the safety relay enables information on the upcoming test interval and the number of cycles available during the product's lifetime.
This functionality is activated using a ready-made function block in the PLC. The signal is decoded to provide comprehensive diagnostic information. Function blocks for XPSU are available in the library for Schneider Electric PLC programming environments. Additionally, separate libraries are available for the most common PLC programming environments on the market.
Preventa XPS Universal safety relays are the best choice for a wide variety of machines. They are easy to use because integration is achieved without a fieldbus, using simple I/O control. Nevertheless, the safety relays provide comprehensive information when needed for diverse diagnostic and predictive maintenance requirements.
