The level-dependent Ambient Sound electronics filter out important sounds from the environment—such as speech, warning signals, approaching vehicle noises, and instructions—clearly and without distracting background noise. New discrimination technology helps you hear only the desired sounds clearly. Thus, the protector does not isolate the user from the environment, improving workplace safety. The sound limiter restricts harmful noise to a safe level.
The Sordin Share DMC radio network is a two-way full-duplex, off-grid network supporting up to 15 users simultaneously, operating contact-free anywhere and enabling efficient team operation under ideal conditions over an area of up to 2 km. Maximum individual user distance is 800 m. All users can speak simultaneously without any voice overlap. Group formation and joining are designed to be extremely fast, and devices that move out of range reconnect automatically to the network. In case of a fault, the network automatically utilizes other Share units within the network to correct the situation and ensure reliable communication. The network also enables two-way conversations and allows separating your own team from a larger group.
Using the Windows-based Sordin Configuration Tool software, a team supervisor can pre-configure the basic settings for each Share unit in advance, for example, based on job tasks. Afterward, users can manage their own Share units via the Sordin App within the set parameters.
The Sordin Share App mobile application enables easy and quick access to numerous functions. For example, adjusting the level-dependent sound level, FM radio channels, personal music/audio books, joining and leaving different conversation groups during work shifts, using the phone, etc. The app remains active in the background even during calls.
Speech control is a touch-free function that leaves both hands free for work, allowing you to simply speak to answer calls, adjust volume, turn the radio on/off, check battery level, initiate a two-way conversation, open Google Assistant or Siri, make an emergency alert shared with all team members, and more.
The gel cushions provide excellent comfort, fit, seal, and are an ideal choice when used with safety glasses, earmuff-style protective eyewear, or face shield-type eye protection.
The wide headband with ventilated cushioning is comfortable to wear under all conditions. Spacious ear cups provide ample space for the ears. Thanks to soft sealing rings, the protector remains comfortable even during extended use. The integrated Li-ion battery provides several workdays of usage between charges, and automatic power-off prevents accidental battery drain. Battery capacity is 2000 mAh. Estimated usage time is approx. 36 hours. A 60-minute charge provides approx. 8 hours of usage. The ear cups are made of highly impact-resistant ABS material. Weight: 445 g.
