When the user starts cooking and increases the speed from the hood, the electrically operated enhancement valve automatically opens, directing the suction exclusively to the hood. The enhancement valve remains open in the installation until the user sets the speed to the 0 position on the hood, at which point the range hood or LTO unit returns to its base ventilation speed. The enhancement valve can be adjusted to open or close partially or fully. The wireless switch can be installed, for example, on the bathroom wall; when taking a shower, using the sauna, or doing laundry, the user can press the switch, causing the range hood or LTO unit to switch to full power and enhance air extraction from other rooms.
