The outdoor-mounted Vaisala INTERCAP® relative humidity and temperature transmitter HMS83 is designed for building automation applications. The transmitter has two 0..10 V analog outputs corresponding to temperature range -40..+60 °C and relative humidity 0..100%. Each device is calibrated and supplied with a traceable calibration certificate. The radiation shield reduces distortion in temperature and humidity measurements caused by solar radiation and enables accurate measurements in outdoor conditions. INTERCAP® humidity sensors based on Vaisala HUMICAP® technology are field-replaceable, achieving the original +/- 3% RH accuracy without separate calibration.
