FIRESAFE YALE YFM/420
The Yale YFM/420 fire-resistant safe is an excellent storage location for important documents and items such as deeds and passports. The YFM/420 is a flagship product in Yale's safe lineup.
This fire-resistant safe enables the secure storage of important items and papers. It features a battery-powered, illuminated touch keypad that controls a high-security lock. The lock supports up to over a billion different codes. Optionally, you can set a one-time code in addition to your regular access code, which becomes inactive after a single use.
The safe has been tested according to the NT Fire 017 standard to a fire resistance rating of 60 minutes. This means that paper documents stored inside remain undamaged even if the safe is exposed to temperatures of 945 °C. This adds extra security to the device and ensures document preservation even under extreme conditions.
The safe comes with mounting screws, allowing it to be secured to the floor or shelf. The device alerts you when the batteries are running low. When the batteries are depleted, you can optionally power the safe with a 9V backup battery.
