REPEATER FRP14 WIRELESS
One- and two-level wireless amplifier with a small antenna. Standby power consumption is only 0.6 watts. An external FA250 (28 140 15) antenna can be connected if needed.
Modular unit for rail mounting according to standard DIN-EN 60715 TH35. 1 module = width 18 mm, depth 58 mm.
This amplifier is required only if building conditions prevent uninterrupted signal reception or if the distance between the wireless button and receiver is too long.
The small antenna supplied can be replaced with an FA250 (28 140 15) antenna with a 250 cm cable or an FAG55E (28 263 68 & 28 263 69) with a 100 cm cable. When optimally positioned, it can significantly extend the range. By default, the one-level mode is activated. In this mode, only signals from wireless buttons/sensors are received, tested, and retransmitted at full transmission power.
Wireless signals from other amplifiers are not considered to reduce data volume.
When the voltage is disconnected, the amplifier can be switched to two-level mode using a rotary switch.
After reconnecting the supply voltage, it can now also amplify signals coming from the one-level amplifier. The signal can thus be received and amplified up to two times.
Wireless amplifiers do not need to be separately programmed into the device. They receive and amplify signals from all wireless transmitters and sensors within their reception range.
The LED indicators below the rotary switch flash to indicate all received wireless signals.
The wireless amplifier FRP14 can be installed either as a standalone unit in the control panel, requiring a 12 V power supply from the power source WNT15-12VDC/24W (27 035 82), or it can be installed together with other wireless 14-series actuators with power supplied via jumpers.
The device is not connected to the bus at all. It is only daisy-chained.
