CONTROL RELAY CURRENT AR12DX-230V
DIN-rail current monitoring relay, 0.1-32A.
OperationUsing the internal toroidal transformer, the alternating current flowing through the device's V1 (terminals M1-M2) is compared to the relay's set value, adjustable via rotary switches A (base current) and xA (multiplier) on a scale of 0.1–32A. If the set value is exceeded, the relay switches off device V2 (connected to terminal 2) or switches to device V3 (connected to terminal 3) within 0.5 seconds. When the set value falls below the threshold again, the contact switches back after the release delay set by the RV rotary switch; the release delay is adjustable between 0–120 seconds.
Rotary switchesThe base current A is set using the lowest rotary switch A. Possible base values are 0.1A; 0.3A; 0.6A; 0.9A; 1.5A; 1.9A; 3.0A; and 3.2A. The multiplier xA is set using the middle rotary switch xA; available values range from 1 to 10. Thus, currents can be set starting from 0.1A (base current set to 0.1A and multiplier set to 1). The release delay RV can be set between 0–120 seconds using the uppermost RV rotary switch. A red LED indicator below the rotary switch flashes during the set RV time.
- 1 potential-free changeover contact (CO) 16A/250V AC.
- Standby power consumption only 0.8 watts.
- LED load up to 200W.
- Incandescent lamp load up to 2300W.
- 1 module = width 18mm, depth 58mm.
- Using the patented Eltako Duplex technology (DX), normally potential-free contacts can still be connected at the 230V AC 50Hz neutral point, significantly reducing their wear.
- Modern hybrid technology combining the advantages of wear-free electronic control with those of high-performance special relays.
- Setting accuracy ± 5%.
- From 25A onwards, the relay always switches on.
