The motion sensor enables automatic on/off control and fixed light level adjustment of lighting in high rooms, shops, and storage areas based on light level and motion. Up to 10 sensors can be connected as slaves to extend the detection area using EER5xx sensors as sub-sensors.

The automatic and semi-automatic operating modes can be activated using a dedicated remote control. The detection area at an installation height of 8 m is approximately 22 x 11 m for transverse motion and approximately 14 x 8 m for direct motion. The detection area can be restricted using masking tapes supplied with the sensor. The lighting turn-off delay can be set between 5 s and 60 min.
