Control features

Four target buttons can control the user’s selected lighting scene, animation, or simply a single light, a single light group, or all lights together as desired.

Buttons for dimming:

• Tapping the Xpress dim button once moves the selected light or light group to zero.
• When the dim button is pressed a second time, the light or light group instead goes to 100%.
• Holding down a dim button causes the light or light group to dim smoothly.

Up/down buttons:

• The up/down buttons can either adjust color temperature if the light has a Tunable White option, or up/down ratio if the light has those control options.
• To adjust color temperature, tapping the 'up' button sets the color temperature to the light’s warmest color level, while tapping the 'down' button sets it to the coldest color level.
• Holding the buttons causes the color temperature to change smoothly in 25 Kelvin steps.
• In vertical control, the 'up' button dims indirect lighting up and direct lighting down, while the 'down' button dims direct lighting up and indirect lighting down.
• The sum of indirect and direct ratios is always 100%.

Installation

The Xpress switch is supplied with a wall mounting plate. The switch can be attached to the plate when equipped with magnets.
